Inspired by Reading: The Fault in our Stars- John Green

This month for our Inspired by Reading bookclub we read John Green's The Fault in our Stars.
Well, other people read it... I was inspired by the cover. I found this fun piece of art on the internet that has all the good parts of the book in picture form in the color scheme of the book cover.
(For all I know, the whole book could be written like this, I never cracked open the book).

I was inspired by the infinities, the color scheme, and tears of pain, sadness & happiness.
PS - the color matches much better in real life ;-)

Hop around to Facebook this THURSDAY and see what everyone else was inspired to make!

  1. Such a great piece, Allison! I love that you owned up to not reading the book! I have a piece I made for Drinking the rain and I've only read 20 pages.

  2. Fun piece! I like the use of the multi strands of teardrop shaped beads...nice touch. I love the different backgrounds you've been using for your photos lately too. :) I hope you'll go back and try to read the book, it really is wonderful.
