That is this month's Pretty Palette picture from the ladies at Halcraft. Isn't it Spring-y!
Here are the Bead Gallery beads I chose. I picked the same large ceramic rounds and the same saucer shape wood beads as Molly did.
I made a multi-strand waxed linen bottom and a beading wire strung top.
I found some lovely little czech glass druks at Allegory Gallery that matched the color palette!
Be sure to go to the Halcraft Blog the last day of the month to check out what everyone else made!
Alison, I love this & especially the way you used the orange linen to create such great texture throughout the necklace! The large orange ceramic rounds are some of my favorite beads in the Bead Gallery line, and I was really excited to use them in this month's challenge, as I feel like they needed a bit more love. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for playing along!
I love seeing what you create for all the challenges, always so creative Alison! I love how you used the multi-strand of beads to balance out those larger ones, very cool!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty palette! I love the way you used the tiny seed beads in between the larger beads in multiple strands to give them more visual weight and impact. I see this with a sundress and sandals. Bring on summer! Enjoy the day! Erin
ReplyDeleteNow that necklace shouts summer, warm weather and sunny days. Lovely

So pretty!! Love the teal chips at the back!
ReplyDeleteI love the way you used the multi-strands of linen. Isn't it funny how turquoise goes with everything? It's such a great color combo with the oranges.
ReplyDeleteLove the pretty color combo! And the way you strung the Czech glass beads on the linen cord between the ceramic rounds is so clever!
