This bracelet came together as soon as I received my purchase of 5 porcelain beads from Andrew from his "Cosmic Relics" series. They are even prettier in person! (There still a few available in his online shop!) The bracelet is made up of those, beads from the kit, and some light green waxed linen I had.
This necklace came together as soon as my first Jade Scott pendant arrived! There was also a Humblebeads birdie in my stash that had been waiting for the perfect home. The shell flower button and dragonfly decoupage bead are from Allegory Gallery and the rest are beads from the kit.

Love both these designs! So gorgeous and such a wonderful selection of elements brought together. Love, Love, Love them!
ReplyDeleteYour bracelet and necklace are both wonderful. I love how the kit beads look with Andrew's Cosmic Relics and love that clasp! The elements you chose for the necklace are so perfectly spring!
ReplyDeleteJust love the color combinations in your necklace. Wonderful! If that doesn't shout Spring, I don't know what does - all the way down to the sweet umbrella which I could have used today. We actually got rain here in Phoenix. Great job on the challenge!
ReplyDeleteThe bracelet you made is simply magical! I think you've got just the right proportions with the big beads interspaced with the clusters of smaller beads. I also like how you punched up the contrast with the use of the copper! The interesting thing is that copper is traditionally used to make these colors in paint-making. The verdigris is made by filling a copper bucket with... well... never mind. I'll just leave it at "it was a smart decision to pair these tones". :-) The necklace is really fun and funky! I love all the colors and how you used the Mystery Component in an interesting way! Great job! And thank you so much for participating!
ReplyDeleteSuch fun pieces, they are Marvolous!
ReplyDeleteBoth pieces are so much fun, Allison! I love the way all the different components in the bracelet work so well together!
