Welcome to my reveal for Halcraft's Pretty Palettes Challenge.
For more information visit http://www.halcraft.com/design/pretty-palettes-february-inspiration-3/
This month Erin's inspiration was Lace, bobbins, and Valentines.
Here's a picture of bobbins used for lace making.
I picked the Rose Quartz pendant and the Rose ceramic beads for Laurel and I to split. Why? you ask. Well I don't like flowery things and lacy things and Laurel doesn't like pendants and pink, so I picked these to be a Big Challenge for both of us!
I chose to use the bobbins as inspiration and make a lariat necklace. Here it is with lace that I used as a loop for the pendant.
Here it is without the lace and using more Rose Quartz as the loop for the pendant.
Please check out the Halcraft Blog to see what Erin Prais-Hintz and her Pretty Palette partner this month Michelle of Firefly Design Studio made. ALSO, check out the inlinks at the bottom for others who played along this month.
Here is February's Challenge: Use this photo of his as a starting point...
I struggled with this one a bit. While the photo is very vibrant and seemingly colorful, the palette is very muted and comprised of only oranges and greens. These are two colors that I am very uncomfortable with together. So until I found the perfect beads, I was stumped. THEN I was digging through my stash and found these amazing little stone briolettes in the perfect color way AND then I found the flower artisan pendant I was hording from a destash of somesort. Sorry, cant remember who made it.
So here's my Honey Do Piece !
Thanks Sarajo for letting us play along!

Wow what a beautiful inspiration painting for this month...
Check out Art Bead Scene Blog for all the information on their monthly challenges.
I had just purchased the perfect beads to be the Artist beads... This month I used a Dianne Hawkey wordbead, a small Keith O'connor round yellow bead, an enameled bead from Andrew Thornton and a bronze star made by Dwayne Thornton (not a typo, that is Andrew and Cynthia's brother he made it from the lost wax process).
